Yes, the GOP did create plans to put young Americans under a Universal Draft of all young adults male and female 18-34 without exemptions for education, marriage child rearing, etc that had been in effect in previous drafts.
The same year Bush also ordered the Selective Service System to test whether they could call a draft within 75 days (2/12 months) I've lost the visual proof on the latter, but it was more well known in 2004 than the plan for the Universal Draft which is similar to Israel's draft. Yes that's 2 1/2 months for young Americans and those who love them to panic and fail to stop the horrific seizure of our children and grandchildren when the GOP gain power and decide to get back into the war games that is so lucrative to their political donors.
Of course, when there is no conflict, young adults can go to school, work, and raise children. Think they are going to cut off their supply of young soldiers to be?
Below are captured clips from a the Seattle PI that I grabbed in 2012. Ads are contemporaneous to that time, but as is shown by the reporting the report comes from 2004, during the Bush/Cheney administration. THIS PLAN WAS ON GOVERNMENT SERVERS DURING THE BUSH 43 YEARS! It's similar to the Israeli draft that can recall adults in the target range after their initial training whenever the warmongers want them.
Notice special consideration for programmers/(& hackers?), language proficient citizens, and other reports added medical doctors who might be conscripted for longer years and past age 34 if considered necessary.
This is the danger we face if the GOP get control again. This is what we must avoid. Sure they want a surplus of children and therefore are creating states in which it is hard for women to get contraception and nearly impossible to get abortions, but it will be 18 years before the forced babies can be um conscripted (ie enslaved) so that leaves you or your children or grandchildren to do the killing and dying to further neocon dream. This isn't a drill or a scam or baloney. Seattle PI got the proof through FOIA.
